Stained Glass Workshop for Kids (Ages 7+) 10:00am
In this hands-on workshop, kids 7 and over, with the help of a grown up, will explore the art of making stained glass.Ā By wrapping pieces of colored glass in copper tape and soldering them together, participants can create beautiful colorful stained glass designs to be hung in a window or worn as pendants. This workshop involves high temperature soldering irons which participants will learn how to use under supervision. Location: First Floor, Main Meeting Room
Make a Mini Scrapbook/Journal for Adults 10:30am
Join us as we make a small 4ā x 6ā scrapbook/journal using a no-sew technique for the binding. The journal will have many pages, some with pockets. A fun and creative craft with so many uses upon completion. Location: Second Floor, Local History Room
Instrument Petting Zoo with the New Jersey Workshop for the Arts (All Ages) 2:00pm-4:00pm
Thanks to local music school, the New Jersey Workshop for the Arts, kids of all ages will be able to touch and try out a variety of musical instruments! Come and see them in the meeting room! Location: First Floor, Main Meeting Room
