The Westfield Art Association and the Westfield Memorial Library are pleased to announce that Kiyanna Lawrence has been selected as the library’s second official Artist-in-Residence.

Artist Bio
With a profound passion for art and a deep-rooted commitment to mindfulness, peace, and joy, Kiyanna Lawrence is dedicated to creating meaningful connections through her work. Kiyanna’s artistic journey is driven by a desire to evoke emotions, foster mindfulness, and inspire others to find tranquility in the midst of life’s chaos.
Lawrence’s art serves as a reflection of her innermost thoughts and emotions, capturing moments of serenity and beauty amidst the complexities of everyday life. Through her paintings, Kiyanna aims to convey a sense of peace and contemplation, inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and find solace in the present moment.
In addition to creating art, Kiyanna also leads minfuless painting workshops, where she shares her passion for both art and mindfulness with others. These workshops provide a space for individuals to explore their creativity, cultivate mindfulness, and connect with their inner selves. Through guided breathing exercises and painting techniques, participants learn to harness the power of the present moment, finding harmony between mind, body, and spirit.
